As a matter of fact, that's not how democracy works in America. That's why we have that thing called the "constitution" which disallows certain things even if the majority of people do vote for them. Maybe you've heard of it before?
I heard about but I am not sure if you heard about a thing called an amendment. It allows the majority to change the constitution anyway they want in a democratic process... Lol. Anyway you look at it, in democracy the majority wins.

You are aware that amendments are very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very hard to pass....Right?
Yeah just because the majority wins does not mean it is a good thing. If history has shown us anything it is rare ever a good thing..
Difficult? Nothing's difficult if you're a majority. We are a democracy which means that majority rules and make laws.
What history? You didn't give a single example. C'mon. Amuse me lol
Really? I think the Constitution and the idea of federalism proves you wrong.
The atrocities committed during the french revolution
The Bolshevik revolution and the ensuing purges, democides and atrocities committed by and in the Soviet Union
The majority public support of Benito Mussolini and the ensuing purges, democides and atrocities committed by them.
The majority public support of Adolf Hitler and the ensuing purges, democides and atrocities committed by them.
The majority public support of Francisco Franco and the ensuing purges, democides and atrocities committed by them.
The majority public support of Mao Zedong and the ensuing purges, democides and atrocities committed by them.
The majority public support of Pol Pot and the ensuing purges, democides and atrocities committed by them.
The majority public support of Fidel Castro and the ensuing purges, democides and atrocities committed by them.
The majority public support of Kim Il-sung and the ensuing purges, democides and atrocities committed by them.
The majority public support of Idi Amin and the ensuing purges, democides and atrocities committed by them.
The majority public support of Iatola Komani and the ensuing purges, democides and atrocities committed by them.
The majority public support of Saddam Hussein and the ensuing purges, democides and atrocities committed by them.
The majority public support of Hugo Chavez and the ensuing purges, democides and atrocities committed by them.
You know if you pay attention to history you can avoid its pitfalls...
Really? I think the Constitution and the idea of federalism proves you wrong.
Nope. The article 5 of constitution clearly describes how a 2/3 majority in congress and 3/4 of the states can amend the constitution through a democratic process.

Why do you always open your mouth on things you have no idea about? None of the situations you mentioned above happened under democratic rule when the will of the people was expressed in a democratic vote. All of the are examples of situation when a relatively small minority was able to dictate its will for the entire population.
Bolsheviks never had majority so they invented a system of oppression when millions were sent to detach camps in Siberia. Nazis were never a majority, so hitler suspended democratic process and instituted terror that sent thousand of Germans into concentration camps.
You know what happened because the will of the majority? This country happened because the majority of the people here in the colonies wanted independence while the minority, the loyalists, wanted to remain royal subjects. Will of the majority is what makes great things not some ruthless dictators and tyrannies you mentioned in your post.
Then again, you don't even know what I am taking about here, do you? Lol
Can't help you with your ignorance and it's probably too late for you to go school.
Sorry.

It does not matter whether or not were "democracies", didn't a majority of people still people the leaders of those nations?
The same leaders which have caused more death, destruction, misery, and suffering then anyone else?
If you knew anything about the founding of this nation 1/3 of people wanted Independence, 1/3 wanted to America to continue under British rule, and a full 1/3 really did not care who flag flew in the town center.
Funny did a majority of people support the aforementioned leaders and to some degree support them and their horrific actions?
So majority will and majority rule is only good, buy never mind the horrific side effects it causes?
So if 50.01% of the people on this broad supported you being shot in the head, I guess it would be a good thing to you...right?
Not a threat or even a wish, just a example..But would you support it? After all a majority of people do support it.
You think just because a majority of people support something it is right and just? And you ignore the countless times in history it had led to genocide and democide, mass rape and theft..
If anyone here needs to study history, its still you.
