The states do not want to lose the money put in their economy.

Yea....ain't like it used to be. Where the "birds of a feather" saying applied. Many many people, men and women, girls and boys, just have totally unrealistic expectations and views of themselves. But, society, largely through the education system, has taught them to be this way. There is no losing, or failure, lack of achievement is actually rewarded, or just made to be inconsequential. Nobody is "better" than anyone else and if you participated at all, the same rewards that people who actually DID stand out are ignored so as to preserve the underacheivers, or even flat slackers, self image. Thus, is born the entitlement Beast. Which devours kids like Rodgers. When there is nobody constantly attending their....fragile...self image, and telling them there are no winners and losers, the reality of life breaks them in half. With having been told their whole lives that any failure or lack of drive is not any fault of theirs, and giving them a tissue, what do we expect? Amazing....

As has been pointed out numerous times the NRA sabotages the background check process and refuses to allow universal background checks even though a super majority of its members support universal background checks. Oh, and, yes, mental health records should be part of a universal background check but the NRA opposes that too.

If you just put a tiny bit of thought into things you'd already know this especially since your question has already been answered a dozen times in this very thread.

It's the easy access to guns for the crazy/unstable/extreme etc people that is the real problem. We all know guns don't get fired without a human involved; but if for instance some skinhead with no criminal or mentally ill history decides to get a bunch of guns...we need to ask our self why? Preferably before he goes off and shoot a bunch of people.

Skinheads are still a scary problem? I'm trying to remember the last time a skinhead went on a shooting rampage?

it's been pointed out to you that they don't but I'm sure that won't stop you from making the claim again

That's real nice and all, but you didn't answer the question...

If as you said he should have been arrested for attempting to push someone off a balcony, what part did the NRA play in preventing him getting arrested?

Without an arrest there can be no charge, without a charge, then there can be no trial, and without a trial or hearing there can be no restriction on firearm ownership.

Seems to me the fault doesn't lie with the NRA, but with the police.

Unless you're proposing we eliminate the 5th Amendment due process clause, is that what you're proposing?

Just giving an example. You can put anything in its place.

The trend seems to be feminized males in their early 20's with obsession with violent video games. jmho
