Gas....that works too.
You've got to admit that those 34 loaded 10-round magazines the killer had with him for his sig sauer and the 7 loaded 10-round magazines he had with him for the glock had the potential to do far more damage than the knife with the two back up knives. People have a logical right to be more scared of the gun toter than a knife swinger.

And the car he drove had the potential to do more damage than all of them combined.

Yet no one calls for bans on cars.

I'm sure the three Asian men he murdered (up close and personal) with the knife are thankful they didn't suffer the horror of getting shot with a SigSauer.

Cars (and knives) have other purposes besides killing. And before you get your panties in a bunch I, personally, am not calling for a ban on guns.

People are busy blaming guns and misogyny for the shooting, while the problem is clear as day to me: males having a poor understanding of sexuality and feeling like it's improper or uncivilized to make bold moves on women.

So do guns.

BTW, of the three (knives, cars, guns), which one(s) have a constitutional amendment protecting ordinary people's right to own and carry them?

Which don't?

And why do you suppose that is?

Too many theories, too many debates, too many discussions.

Still no solutions.

I guess we should just tell the devastating father, "Guess what, your son happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time." Or the more PC way of saying it, "Freedom is never free. I am so sorry and saddened by your loss."

McVeigh nor the Boston bombers had either.

I've noted the partial solution over and over. Any solution will be partial.

No, what he should be told is we are sorry that the authorities dropped the ball when they were warned about this guy.
