If he doesn't like someone he isn't obligated to give them the 5 star treatment. The only thing he's obligated to do is abide by FDA rules.
You don't have FREEDOM to break the law. He broke the anti-discrimination laws.
If you don't like the law elect people who will change it, but, having to follow it does not impinge on your FREEDOM.

You might want to explain that, in very simple words, to some politicians in Washington D.C.
Some of the most senior ones seem to think they can break or modify any law they want, any time they want.

I agreed with most everyone who suppose the owner's decision. However, I do what to know if they refuse to serve blacks, will they still be the same type of support?
Less than 4% of Colorado is Black I don't think this would even be an issue.

If you offer a good for sale, say a cake, you can not discriminate on who you will sell that cake to. If you do not offer cakes for sale, then you do not have to sell them to anyone. If I walk in and you refuse to sell me a cake, but sell the person behind me in line a cake, then you are discriminating.
