Just imagine if hospitals lost all records. People wouldn't get their medications or treatments. Maybe not the same thing but the idea is the same. There are always backups.

I hate when they talk about not having the budget to update things, yet they can give out millions and bonuses. Public employees should not get bonuses. Period. you are not generating profit. You get great benefits and good salaries. You do not deserve bonuses.

Hell, they're spending almost $150,000 per year on EACH unaccompanied minor illegal alien.

Each one of those unaccompanied minor illegal aliens are costing U.S. taxpayers $400 per day.
Quote:
"In 2012, when fewer minors passed through the shelters, about 13,700, HHS spent $168 million on food, staff and school for their charges, which works out to more than $400 per child per day."
Flow of Unaccompanied Minors Tests U.S. Immigration Agencies

That's $2,800 per week for each one. That's almost $150,000 per year to support each one.

When historians look back a hundred years from now, I wonder what terms they'll use for our press.

Surely, they won't call them journalists.

I'm waiting for ONE SINGLE HONEST DEMOCRAT to surface and call this what it is: a cover-up.

Since there is no such thing as an honest Democrat left in today's Democrat Party, that isn't going to happen. That party is a national disgrace.

The witness today is useless. She claims to know not much of anything. Today is turning out to be a waste of time. Listening to her job description (adviser to some people who are responsible for others who were looking to get the documents). What a friggin waste. How much was her salary there? 6 figures to what seems like nothing.

We have way too many wasted positions in government. Some of these people do next to nothing, yet great benefits and salary (paid by us).

Utterly pathetic.

When the tables are turned, I will have no sympathy.

good point. but if you work at IRS, you can even be a tax delinquent and still get your bonus.

Of course. They're the government. Theyll always get their money from us and our money feeds them, not profits. Just like the VA and other public places, the goodies for them come first. Well, if we had any damn sense at all in this country, the bonuses wouldnt come at all.

The big scandal in the Nixon/Watergate scandal was the 18½ minute gap of silence on his tapes, here we have gap consisting of terabytes of data; and that is just one of many shockers in this entire IRS corruption scandal.
