For approximately the 20th time, I'll post this again.
We have no problem with "Indian", "NDN", Warrior, Chief, Redman, Brave, or any tribal name like Seminole, Cherokee, Blackhawk, Lake Huron, Mohawk, or any landmark named for a tribe.
We only have a problem with 1 term. "Redskin" for all the reasons I've given over and over and over. It's not just a "Few Indians" it's the various tribal councils, the National Congress of American Indians and every sane, sober, educated Indian in North America.
Leave it to the white man to tell us what we really think. Some things never change.
And it's hilarious how they pick and choose which Indians they want to believe, rather than simply going with the least offensive word they can and letting the issue be resolved with the least amount of aggravation.
I really do think it's a power struggle for some of these posters. I bet if you launched a campaign to have everyone call you "redskins," they'd object mightily -- because whatever what you want, they're against it.

Nobody cares what some fringe minority group wants to be called. We really don't. I'm talking about the whole FIVE people who are offended about the name.

I don't have the statistics at hand, but I'm guessing more than five people in the world are offended by the name. Just a hunch.
and why they slaughtered each other on a daily basis.
What does that have to do with anything, other than a transparent and ugly attempt to smear them?
After all, it's not like white people were slaughtering each other on a daily basis in Europe at the time that they showed up here on someone else's land...
… oh, wait ….
No, what I meant was, it's not like Europeans were slaughtering each other for religious reasons, which is why some of them had to come here and slaughter other people …
…damn, that's not right, either.
I'll have to get back to you on this one. It's a toughie.

Annnnd now you're the arbiter of who's a "fringe minority group" and who isn't.
Do you ever stop telling minorities what to do, think, say and feel? It must be exhausting to have such a burdensome job.

Nobody cares what you think, I wasn't even talking to you. Go support your racist Cleveland Indians and support them keeping their trademark and name.
