My husband won't go to a job site unless it's set up on 6-10's minimum. Usually they work 6-12's and if deadline is getting close they'll go 7-14's. He's getting ready to go ex-pat and his contract calls for 72... from yes.. a US company. I think you'll find a lot of folks actually do work more than 60....

I would think that when it comes to voting that people should THINK about the issues and the qualifications of the candidates instead of what random people on the internet posted...

So here we have a women working 4 jobs motivated to better herself living on 3 hours of sleep a day and dies.

All so that Corporate Lobbyists, Investors and Banks can continue to reap the world from their Foreign and Domestic Economic policies they wrote up to pass on to their puppets in DC.
This story doesn't coincide with the Demorat's assertion that everything is just fine economically.

It's sad and the right refuses to look a the plight of the low wage worker in this country and how it impacts us ALL. A woman working 4 jobs to make ends meet ~ is desperate.

Has anyone seen Paycheck to Paycheck? Divorced Mom working as a CNA whilst trying to raise three kids? CNA's ~ many of whom take care of our very own elderly are paid peanuts.

They will just spout nonsense about how it's all her fault and comment nothing on why we pay our workers SO LITTLE. Perhaps we could look at other countries - where workers are able to actually make a living doing those jobs that our society requires in order to function.

Corruption and theft? Where? Nobody twisted her arm to take those jobs.

But leave it to the Huffington Post to spin that sucker into a nice compact digestible pill to be quaffed down by the leftie masses.

I'm not buying it.
And this is the typical conservative response. Nobody twisted her arm to take those jobs. Nothing deeper than that; no ability to address the underlying disparity that continues to plague America.

While I agree it's sad about what happened to this lady... it's also very sad that the left continue to think that the middle-class is an unending supply of $$$'s and work to support others. It's not that we don't care. It's that we cannot continue to support others. Some of us are plain tapped out. I commend this lady for her work ethic. But making this tragedy look like it's all the rights fault is tactless. Maybe you should turn your interests towards teaching people NOT to put gas cans in a auto like she did... or... perhaps turn the venom on to the gas can manufacturers to make the cans vapor proof......

If only Americans would do that we would not have most of the politicians in office that we have now.
