Why shouldn't we have it in the US? It would make this country much more prosperous. The Nordic Model is the best example of a mixed economy thus far. Why Americans oppose it? I have no idea.

Well for one thing Norwegians see their homeland as the past, present, and future land of them and their heirs. Here? You're a racist.
How's their immigration policy? Fantastic. Millions of people flooding their borders? Sure we can copy their programs, what would be different I mean we only have 9 cities in America each with more population than their entire country.
It's so simple, why hasn't this been thought of before?
Their suicide rate is basically identical to ours.
No. It isn't.
Finland, especially in males, and Denmark, especially in females, and lower in Norway and Iceland, with Sweden in a middle position. The statistics are found to be comparable. In this article the development from 1880 to the present day is described, and special emphasis is laid on the development from 1960 onwards. Denmark and Finland still keep the top position, while the rise in suicide rates, especially in the age group 15-29 years, has been most marked in Norway. Within the Nordic region Greenland has an extremely high suicide rate, especially in youngsters, while the Faroe islands have a very low rate. Tentative explanations are given for the development of suicide rates in the Nordic countries.
Not to mention that we have a population of 300 million, half of whom are too lazy, stupid or both to contribute.
Oh......who needs that high suicide rate?
Do you have anything besides generalizations......? Or do you not understand how much more of an "entitlement society" a lot of the Nordic countries are..... Or how they heavily tax O&G extraction and use the revenues.....
Would you support some type of free higher education for everyone like they would?
