Lincoln and Wilson were also elected twice, and FDR was elected FOUR times. So the electorate in those days were much worse than the electorate today.
Back then there was not the instant communications and the ability to hear the news instantly. It was a forced ignorance on the part of the electorate. There are no excuses today for a significant portion of the electorate to be ignorant. They are ignorant out of choice. That makes them the worst of all time.

I will grant you that in Lincoln's day there was no instant communications outside the telegraph, but there certainly was instant communication in Wilson's and FDR's day. It was called "radio."
I don't see how anyone could ever be worse than George W Bush.
What did Bush do, that Obama has not doubled down on?
Killing innocent people?
Getting involved in someone elses fight?
Did Bush use the Federal Government, to go after and punish his political adversaries?
The economy tanked when Pelosi & Reid took the reigns, cannot blame that all on Bush, as he was warning for years, that the fuse was lit on an explosion. Congress writes the law. The President enforces that law.

Anyone who blames, or gives credit to, any President for the state of the economy is only demonstrating that they are civically illiterate and have no clue about how their own government functions.
That is the very definition of a "low-information voter."

When Bush walked in the office, the country was in good shape, and when he finally walked out, the it was a heap of rubble. That is a fact. You can blame Obama all you want for not fixing everything fast enough, I do not care (I did not vote for him), but that does not make him a worse president than the one who caused the damage in the first place

Today we can get on the internet and discuss topics on places like CD. There are hundreds of places people can go to hear opposing views and give their own, as well as hearing the responses to their own. Of course there are still people who won't listen to anything that they disagree with.
Back then you might discuss politics at the barbershop or somewhere else, mainly person to person. If you say something stupid, you might withdraw and never speak again. Now we can do the same thing and nobody knows who we are. It's a lot different than it was when there was just radio and TV.
There is no excuse for the ignorance of the electorate today.
He's a president? I thought he was the United States golf ambassador.
In all seriousness he has done things that are good for the Country.
Name one thing good he has done for the country?
