it is about time they considered it.
many have been saying this for quite a while already.
I am surprised they just thought of this.

antibodies are only produced by our own bodies effective against the virus
as a result

why not use the peoples blood that are now immune? the so to speak.

many online have already expressed this some doctors as well
especially now since Dr Brantly did it you know it is suppose to help
but his blood still contains the virus it is just that his blood is now immune to the virus itself for now
As I understand it there is not yet scientific proof that transfusions are effective. This is all experimental.

Obama's appointment of his 1st Surgeon General shows how little stature the position has and his second appointment (which Reid refuses to hold a vote on) is even worse. I fully expect Obama to appoint Dr. Oz next.

Reid schedules votes for the Senate. There is no filibuster in the Senate (under the new Harry Reid 'rules') for Presidential appointees .. exception (so far) for Supreme Court Justices.

He could schedule a vote whenever he wants, BUT he doesn't choose to do that.
He'd need 51 votes to confirm (or remove a Hold) since the filibuster was nuked for Appointees in Nov. 2013.
Dems control 53 votes, and 2 Indies who caucus with them.
53 (much less 55) is a larger number than 51 - so the 45 GOP Senators couldn't block anything.

So why doesn't Reid hold these Votes that the Parrots claim the Evil Republicans are stopping? Reid doesn't have enough Democrats to confirm the weirdo appointees. He only needs 51 or them - word is that he is about 10 short.
Just more noise that benefits no one! Frankly, I for one am sick and tired of the excuses, the he-said/she-said blame games, and complete political BS that is completely out-of-control, especially since the election of this president - from both sides - that has all but crippled this nation!

Now, sadly, this Ebola is just another issue that they're already using to play the point-the-finger game for their own political gains! One thing you can be certain of, it is NOT for your, my, or any other citizen's benefit in the U.S.!

It's way past time that ALL of the "playing of the politics" in this nation is put on the back burner and ALL begin doing the job they were elected to do for the betterment of our government and our citizens for all of us now and for all of our future generations - and turn these ridiculous lose-lose games back into win-win efforts on all of our behalf's.

The direct contact with bodily fluids of ADVANCED Ebola seems to be holding true here and throughout the rest of the world.

CNN had " an veterinarian expert" on skype. Expert said there have been no scientific studies of dogs and Ebola. No one knows if the 21 day window is the same for dogs as for humans. He recommended the animal be killed.

CNN also had one of the world's foremost Ebola experts with decades of experience in labs and in the bush on.. The last thing he expected was a question about dogs. He said, " give the dog a bath and all will be well".

First world problems.........

CNN has to be one of the most irresponsible networks with respect to Ebola. That woman they have in the morning is a piece of work with her faux outrage, gross exaggerations, leading and misleading questions, and false statements. I think she is trying for a job over at Fox.

What if it's 24 days or months or years?
Or maybe only 15 days.

Who the hello in the world knows for sure?
There's front line experience in Africa and monkey tests.
There has never been an outbreak, like this, thus no certainty.

Maybe the US should have gone deep into Africa during a previous infrequent and remote outbreak and paid the locals $2.00 each to participate in scientific human research for several years.

I do not mean to be snarky, here. This expectation that the U.S. should have been on top of this is beyond unreasonable. Pendulums swing to extremes before they center.

It would not have mattered who sat the oval or held the majority. Had Ebola presented under a Republican watch, the Democrats would have used it as a political opportunity to fear monger, too. That's the way we roll here in the good ole USA.

Originating in Africa, wonder if anyone has looked at whether Africans might be more susceptible than other races.

That study may be down the road since few outside Africa have gotten ill.

I believe Muslims are the majority in two of the three countries and a significant minority in the third.

LoL. I had the same thought, too. She's auditioning on the air for a better job with Fox.
