You still have yet to address my point of your travel ban, by it's nature, would also preclude your own citizens being allowed to return home if they have travelled through an area of concern.

Those areas of concern for your nut-job, knee-jerk, reactionary travel ban to be effective, would also include any and all international foreign airports, bus stations, as people have been known to interact with luggage porters, washroom facilities, lunch counters, taxi drivers, shoe shine boys, hookers, ticket agents, light switches, door handles.............

C'mon, get real. The skin I have in the game is exactly of the same value and risk as yours. Step back from your hysteria and think about how you're behaving.

I find irony in the fact that many of the Americans in the threatened area in Africa are evangelical Christian missionaries (Methodists , Luthern Missouri Synod, Southern Baptists,Seventh Day Adventists, and Catholics) . In an area with few medical organizations the clinic or rudimentary hospital set up by these Christian missions are the only modern medicine available. These are people who are living the example of Christ or taking a big risk to help the sick and we should all honor their sacrifice as Christ certainly will.

Just my guess: she really didn't want to discuss it, because: she's probably tired of being asked about it; she's not been privy to official, vetted information about it; she only knows what she's read/heard from media sources; it's not her job to advise people on it, and she doesn't want to be used as a source or misquoted.

i consider the hysteria, hysterical

i mean the cruise ship thing, wtf. A lab supervisor? No contact? 20 days? Why didn't they cruise for one more day and they would of know she was okay.

I mean if I was on a cruise, with no signs (fever/etc) I would want more than 50% off my next cruise. And to hell with the f'n staying in my room. No fever, f' you all.

The TSA pat down guy being sent home, last I heard the TSA didn't get puked on

seriously. . no wonder people are scared "abundance of caution" is really ridiculous unneeded theater, and it scares people. . .

their abundance of caution is just fodder for 24 news.

On NPR they said it the best

this IS A CARE GIVERS disease

Or maybe she's telling the truth.

I saw something on the news yesterday where a judge was holding hearings for people in the slammer via video and one of the inmates said something like "it's not like I have Ebola" and the judge tells the police to immediately clear the room.

The paranoia is definitely out of control.

If the Nurse had any potential contact with the first Ebola case in the US they had no business on a cruise and there is no defending it.

There's a strong possibility that's the case.
