He is basically a hood rat. He dropped out of school.

And I find it hilarious that he dropped his given name of as a way to "shake off the oppressor", in favor of an Arab name. Arabs were involved in the slave trade too.

The Black people who are taking care of business(whether they are college educated or working class types) don't hang around the likes of such persons. One thing to consider, it is the hood rats who will get the most attention. No one seems to understand that hood rats get more attention than anyone else.
Agreed. The Arab name thing is just lame for the reasons you said. Too: Arabs are members of the "white" race and the LAST thing any kind of "other race" supremacist wants to avoid is being linked with white people.

Some people will try it thinking that there was no prejudice against Blacks in the Arab world. It existed. It existed in the Western Hemisphere, it existed in the Maghreb.

Alot of those persons did get one thing right. They admit that they don't know which part of Africa their ancestry comes from.

King Samir Shabazz and the New Black Panther Party is despised by the original Black Panther Party. Bobby Seale basically said that all they do is spew hateful rhetoric and the NBPP hasn't done anything tangible within the 2 decades of existence. He brought up that the BPP of old didn't spew the "kill Whites", they were willing to work with people of other races. Bobby Seale noted that one could not think about the freedom and liberation of African-Americans without talking about all people's liberation. The NBPP and the original BPP are not affiliated, and they have nothing to do with each other.

The crazy part is many of the 1st Black Panthers still alive in 2014 would be welcome at Tea Party rallies because many of their beliefs are the same. "politics make strange bedfellows"

Here is another strange fact. At one rally, the NBPP invited Tom Metzger, the founder of White Aryan Resistence(the same group responsible for Mulageta Seraw's death).

Here is the video of it.

I can't really imagine that. The Tea Party is as far away from the Socialist leanings of the old Black Panther Party as one can get.

It's odd how quiet everyone is about this murder, especially considering the gruesome nature of it.

People in the town seem to be clamming up. Perhaps if the reward were higher it might motivate some to spill information.

The irony is this. Some of the states that have the death penalty have some of the most violent cities in them. The death penalty hasn't proven to be a deterrent. This took place in Mississippi, where the death penalty exists and will be used.
