And if this is the case , as sad as it is , she put herself into this. She in know way deserved what she got but damn, just another case of a teen being stupid as staying in an abusive relationship proved.

I don't think it was just an abusive ex, but more likely related to the gang. She knew too much.

You are correct, I'd forgotten about the drug angle as she was female but they get snuffed by gangs for being short or taking some of a stash just like guys do.

Same happened last Thanksgiving in Chicago at Nordstrom where ex-boyfriend stalker gunned down his women at the store. She white, he black.

Do you see me defending the perpetrator? Do you see any Black people defending the perpetrator in this case? I merely questioned the validity of this being a hate crime.
