How in Allah's name can the federal government allow people to have guns sent to their homes withoutso much as a background check, or even a face to face contact between buyer and seller?
Everybody, from the most determined Mother who demands action, to the 50 gun arsenal owning... "enthusiast" for lack of a more polite term... should agree that this is a horrible idea.

The second amendment talks about the militia. A volunteer, WELL REGULATED force which trains, has ranks, and stores their weapons in an armory instead of carrying them into supermarkets.
In other words, the second amendment talks about the US armed forces, not any average joe.
Read the 2a in its entirety. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms"

Yep just like the rest of the rights in those amendments are in place to establish rights for the elite and government not the average Joe.
Because this is European America and people are allowed to be as careless and destructive as they want to be... That's their "right" as an American....
A gun designed specifically for killing large numbers of people, capable of firing entire clips of bullets rapidly with little effort.
The same effort is required to fire hunting rifles as an AR15. One bullet expelled for each pull of the trigger. You can't just pull the trigger once and multiple bullets are fired.
