That is weird but then again last year blacks ruled with "12 years a slave" "the butler" the year before it was "django unchained" "the Help"
I think it is the luck of the draw but I'm sure someone will attach the R word to it.

Sadly, I think you're right on that one.
Whenever just about anything is made up of a significantly higher percentage of whites people are quick to call it racism. I do commend them for not going against their normal way of choosing nominees, just to be "politically correct" or "to ensure that blacks are commended for their work in the film industry".
Still wondering why certain representatives from 15% of the population feels they need to be represented in equal proportion to the rest of the country in all forms of media and entertainment. Actually, it's a small percentage of the 15% who feels this way, plus, a whole lot of pasty liberals who suffer from a severe case of white guilt. Gotta love these watchdog groups who have nothing better to do but stir the race pot.
People feel Selma was snubbed. Not sure how the oscars work so I have no opinion on whether or not Selma even could have been nomimated. This is why people are complaining about the oscars though, not solely based on the lack of diversity.
Oh give me a break. That's as dumb as Aisha Tyler opining in outrage that there need to be more blacks in "the Academy." I guess she thinks that will ensure one big monolith casting the same votes. How....racist.
Selma was nominated, though. So there's still a chance that the film will win in that category. Then Oprah and the entire cast and crew can traipse on stage, and spend 15 minutes preaching to us all.
