You get a credit based on income, for those in the Corp. world the same holds true. The more you earn the more you pay out of pocket for coverage. The Corp. then gets to write off the expense of medical coverage.

Yes there is a tax credit both for individuals and corp. now with Ocare. Prior the only tax creit was to Corp. who were able to write off the expense on their balance sheets.

Have a good day I am off to play 18

Want to bet?

I had health care coverage designed for me. And it was affordable. Low premiums and low deductibles.

Now after the great lie, I have to pay for crap I don't need. Such as all the female junk. I am a single guy. I don't need mammograms, pap smears yet I would have to pay for it with coverage rates that increased tenfold and deductibles that went into the stratosphere.

Worst of all, I would subsidize some deadbeat. I am not my brothers keeper.

My fine for being uninsured was zeroed out due to my tax credits.

I will not be forced into buying a product that doesn't work for me.

And yes, I will keep beating that drum as long as these threads are started.

To you...
Person A buys their own insurance, so they get a tax deduction, meaning they pay less in taxes (Republican plan), saving THEIR OWN money

is the same as

Person B gets their insurance from ACA, and this gets paid by someone else, meaning you have to increase other peoples taxes to pay for it..

Seriously, you think their the same?

Corporations do NOT get CREDITS they get DEDUCTIONS.. NOT THE SAME.. one reduces their tax obligation, which means they have to first make a profit in order to receive the benefits, the other, gets the handouts no matter what..

Understand the difference between a deduction ,and a credit, and you wont find yourself repeating the Democratic talking points put out for the stupid..

Maybe the rest of us got tired of paying for all the stuff you "couldn't afford".

But somehow, you dont seem to share the same concern when people whine they are paying taxes, while others contribute zero income tax, and receive handouts.

At least I'm honest about it, I pay zero, and while I dont get the handouts, I believe EVERYONE should pay, and I completely understand how those who do pay, can get upset that everyone doesnt.

Even the Obama debt commission said we needed to broaden the tax base, where did they go?

Yet you are okay with letting other people pay for your stuff.

Rampant hypocrisy.

Valiant effort, but I'm not hopeful they will ever be able to understand the difference. It's been explained many, many times and they still don't get it. Every day, one or more morons try to claim that corporate tax deductions are corporate "welfare."

Tax dollars don't fund my premium they simple don't take more tax from it because it is not income coming to me. Tax dollars do fund yours because you are purchasing a product with assistance from someone else money.
You don't want to call your subsidy from the government a subsidy because that would make you feel like a mooch. Fine, whatever makes you feel better. But here's the bottom line. Without your nice little benefit from the government--which you did nothing to earn, it was simply handed to you--you would not be able to afford your healthcare.

You take it as a given that you deserve to afford your healthcare, and you equally take it as a given that those who don't have access the perk you receive from the government don't deserve to have health insurance they can afford. That comes through loud and clear.

And that's too bad for you. I and millions like me can finally afford to purchase health insurance on par with employees enjoying government subsidies.

You don't like it. I'm good with that.
