Yep. Maybe an owner of a smorgasbord could refuse service to all kinds of people - on religious grounds, of course.

On the highlighted, this is exactly where it's all headed, right down the thought crime road.

I didn't say they weren't free to do so - just the opposite.

I disagree. Again, so what?

Yes, you did. Sorry 'bout that. In rereading your post, my disagreement is with the opinion "too far." What you and I think is too far is irrelevant. That's my point.

Crime? So, now you're suggesting that people will be arrested for opposing gay marriage?

That's fine. Yes, my opinion is not going to make people stop or change their minds but I'll express it. It's also unlikely that attacking a business is going to make the business owners change their minds.

No. But its already at the point if one dares to say they don't support gay marriage, they're publically bashed and some try to ruin their lives.

Sorry folks, not all of us our politicians, ready to change our supposed views and morals for public praise. We aren't all frauds like Obama and Clinton.
This isn't even hatred of a person for who they are. Simply an opposition to to gay marriage. How the hell does that suddenly deserve hate and bashing and lives ruined?

Seems the majority of the bigotry is coming from the side that refuses to acknowledge this family's religious freedom by sending them death threats, arson threats, boycotts, harassment and other negative attacks. They've had to close temporarily; maybe permanently because of the hate that's been directed at them for simply stating their opinion.

All because they said they wouldn't participate in an event that conflicts with their religious beliefs, even after saying they would not discriminate against anyone coming into their restaurant based on that person's sexual orientation or religion.
