There are photos that show the Clintons used the confederate flag in their advertising back in the 90's when Bill was running for office.
Obama also used the flag in his advertising bids for his Senate seat.
It wasn't racist then was it?? It was a symbol for the "Rebel" shaking the status quo up. The Dukes of Hazard had it on the roof of the General Lee for the same reason. Nothing wrong with that BUT why is that flag a symbol of racism now?
Sean Hannity makes some good common sense points but boy can he go out on a limb now and again.
Because little left wing nut jobs needed something to be offended about. They have managed to rewrite history and convince at least some of the weaker-minded that now is a symbol of racism.
The South is often trashed by liberal northerners. Hypocrites.
After living in the NE for decades, I can say we Southerners live with our neighbors, unlike the hypocritical, liberal, insular, UES, New York hypocrites.

Yes quite a history in the south from being democratic and now gone republican.
New revelation that all those GOP congressmen receiving donations from the Council of Conservative Citizens, a group connected to white supremacy are just now returning their donations.
Southern Democrats were the plantation slave owners. They were extreme racists, and they were truly proud of their Confederate flag, some still are.
Clinton was and remains a master politician. He has no firm moral base. He'll happily say one thing to one person (voter) and then turn around and tell the next person (voter) the exact opposite.
He would wave an ISIS flag today if he thought it would get him votes.
