A poor plan really is no better than no plan.

I like his response to pundits who say it has no chance of ever passing: “All of the pundits always tell us what we cannot accomplish until the day after we accomplish it.”

Sanders continues to hit the issues that affect and concern middle class Americans the most.
The individual has the "right" to comply with the good of the collective.

Twisted views of freedom and liberty.

He didn't say anything about taking from the rich. Most likely he'd impose some kind of VAT.

No, plenty of money was collected, it's just that it was spent on things other than the intended purpose and wasted through corruption and inefficiency.
This theme is repeated endlessly in everything our government does and it will happen with a single payer plan. Eventually all the guv run schemes will go bust as it runs out of Peters to plunder in order to support the Paul's.
What we are witnessing now with the various insolvencies is the beginning of the end

The American tax payer already pay more in taxes to fund the current health care system ($1370 billion) than the British do with their medicare for all, single payer system.

I really cannot understand why USA cannot copy good system from other countries. Lets take Israel as example.
They have two systems: One is mandatory governmental - the free one. Every person pays 3% from its' income and about 100$ every 3 months.
There is also a private system, where any person can buy insurance or pay cash.
Israel is the 4-th effective system in the world.

Not that Britains system is something to aspire to but...
How many people are you comparing?

Maybe the fact that we have seven times more people than them has something to do with it.

Well I really can't understand why anyone wants our government involved in their healthcare when it can't run any scheme without bankrupting it, but to your point, these other countries pretty much have their defense need$ taken care of by us.
How much aid do the Israelis get from American taxpayers again?
