As said above brilliant. The release of the American captives, that should have already been part of the deal would be enough. But, the recognition of Israel is a masterpiece that Kerry should have done from the beginning.

Negotiation 101 requires both parties getting and giving something.

Kerry's negotiation was like kids fighting over a playground ball. The bully wins, the US loses

Iran is not going to recognize Israel. Ever. McConnell knows that. This is just a ploy on his part to try to kill the deal.

McConnell's other option was getting Iran to admit that Mohammed was a pedophile and a womanizer - or no deal.

I find it odd....McConnell argues to drop the ban on Planned Parenthood funding because he says he does not have the votes.

He doesn't have them here either but that doesn't seem to stop him.

There is talk of the House dealing with their problem, I wonder when it will start in the Senate?

Agreed. I saw mitch meeting bibi and he was not what you would call an American statesman. Embarrassing. Smiling lap dog. Like a naive kid in a hope line with a cute girl.

I have to walk my above complaints back some. I see where some are calling on him to remove the 60 threshold for this vote like Reid did when he ran the Senate.

I guess that would change things.

Really? Why should we care whether or not Iran thinks Israel or any other country should exist?
