True. Anyone with a need for a Lexus needs to be psychologically evaluated.

All automatic weapons should be banned. The only legal firearms should be non-automatic. Any automatic forearm should be immediately impounded by the government.
Amazing how often people so willingly reveal their monumental ignorance.

Huckabee is laughable as a presidential candidate because he always takes the wrong positions, and what he represents on this subject, is repulsive to the well-being of this country...obviously.

No, Nexus is dead serious. IMHO: He's proven to be the most outrageous poster in the forums, which I believe was his intention.
I've noticed that a lot of CD members similar to this character have their profiles accessible only to friends. Why doesn't he allow everyone to view his posting and thread history? I'm sure it would be interesting.

Most of us have never even seen or owned an automatic firearm.
i have seen a proper automatic firearm, there was one for sale at a local gun store here about a year ago. a very nice M2 .50cal for a mere $25,000. wish i had the money.

What is the difference between your weapon and an automatic weapon. More that 9 rounds per five seconds?

Do you really need that much firepower? Did you have a psychological and background check before purchasing that weapon?
since you are showing your COMPLETE ignorance about firearms, i am going to give you a bit of an education. perhaps it will open your eyes a bit so you can see.

an automatic weapon is one where you pull and hold the trigger, and it continues to fire as long as there are rounds in the weapon.

the weapon you are complaining about is called a semi automatic weapon, which means each time you pull the trigger, ONE round is fired off. if you hold the trigger down nothing more happens after the one round is fired. that means each time you want the gun to fire, you have to pull the trigger.

before you spout off on things you dont know, get an education as it will prevent you from looking stupid.

My profile isn't accessible either. since I have no friends it doesn't really matter.

With all due respect...

I can't believe the amount of replies the LexusNexus got from you people. You gave this... person... exactly what s/he wanted - attention. Nobody in their right mind could be that clueless about reality and still function effectively: but then again, maybe we allow them to for entertainment purposes.

But ultimately, s/he got want they wanted - for you to reply to them. People have been - ever since the first human word was spoken - spouted off gibberish in order for others to pay them attention. "Here!!! Look at me!! I actually exist! Please confirm my actual existence by responding!"

This person lives under a bypass somewhere, people. Why feed him?

One small step at a time.
The only legal weapons should only be able to fire 1-2 rounds before reloading. Anything more than that is not needed (whether you call them auto or semi-auto).

I understand the gun culture is part of the US history, but at some point we need to live the cowboy era behind.

So what happens if 4 bad guys are breaking into my house? I shoot 2 then reload?

Come back to us with legitimate arguments when you actually know something about guns.

You just shot down my theory that only radical leftists hide their profiles.
