The only thing I'm afraid of is ignoramuses having a say that effects the rest of us. This thread is proof of that.

Well it would it be a consistent standard across the state lines so that individual might not be able to get a gun as before they could due to one state having a more lax law.

Except for purchasing a gun in another state is illegal already. Do you want to make it extra illegal?

If you want the standard the same then make the standard like the vast majority of states already and get rid of the extra checks in states like California and New York.

Let's see the studies. I'm wondering where all those guns in Chicago are coming from...

Won't do anything. Another source will pop up.

Let's make it triple illegal. So whatever jail time/fine there is presently, let's triple it.

I love my Thompson 45. Those trench brooms are really easy to control.
I can see why the gangsters like them in Chicago, in the 1920's & 30's.
It has never jammed on me and I have put 1000's of rounds through it.

The BAR's are uncontrollable with the happy switch on. Too much kick in that 30.06 round for me to control. Maybe someone with 200 more pounds than I have in my tight ass.

Again, do you also suggest we get rid of violent crime laws since it doesn't prevent all violent crime? Yes or no.

Most crime guns come from straw purchasers (already illegal) and stollen (already illegal)

If you want to reduce crime then fix the underlying causes, such as a failing education system, single parent households, over regarding business preventing job growth, etc.
