The choice lies with your employer. There is no law that states they must open. I know the argument is that they can not compete if they don't open but Chik Fil A does just fine not opening on Sundays.

We don't shop on the holidays as I feel sorry for those employees trapped at work, usually the younger ones that give up time with their families.

I remember when the stores used to close versus every holiday a chance to have a "big" sale. I would never shop on Thursday for Black Friday specials since that is nothing but tacky using that lure.

Yes, you can. Your choice NOT to quit is still a choice that you have made.

The only stores that should be open on Sunday's and holidays are 7-11's and gas stations.

It hasnt always been like this.
my point is lots of business are open on holidays. don't apply for a job if this is a possibility and you do not want to work holidays. easy.

That possibility didn't come up until 2 years ago. your point is based on a falsehood.

The same liberals who denounce Columbus, think the Pilgrims slaughtered natives, and that Jesus is fictional are the same liberals suing for time off to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas. Crazy.

Police, fire, EMS, hospital, etc are essential. Buying a TV can wait a day.
