There were $8.7M in awards in 2014 based on religion, I imagine there a few awards other than Muslims. By the way religious discrimination in hiring is also an offense. Do you feel the same way about Christians bringing charges?

Your ire should be directed at the jury, not the judge.

Religion-Based Charges
If your company is a trucking company that delivers alcohol then in the interview the question regarding islam is valid. "Are you muslim and if so, do you have problem delivering alcohol?" If they answer they won't deliver alcohol then it's not religious discrimination. It's not hiring someone not willing to do the job.

Depends, how many of the jury are also muslim. Not sure if the judge is also muslim.

It's irrelevant if they are muslims. The jury members are the people who determined these two drivers deserved $240k, not the judge. Saying "those MF Judges!" displays an ignorance of how our court system works.

In lawsuits, judges have a wider authority on how a court case is carried out. I'm curious how many of the jury were Muslim. Either most of the jury are Muslim or most of the jury are idiots.

If not, you're demonstrating a major double standard.
That's not even close to being the same thing. You know this.

BTW...should pharmacists be able to reject filling a prescription based on religious reasons? You know, like the abortion pill?

See, two can play at that game.

I wonder what kills more people in this country every year, alcoholism or Islamic terrorism and what is the margin of difference?

I'm in no way condemning alcohol use - I drink regularly, and I am CERTAINLY in no way condoning Muslim extremism, your argument doesn't hold much water. Not even going down the fallacy of the "they line up to drive a truck loaded with bombs" comment.

Personally, I don't believe driving around a truckload of booze violates their religion, but then I don't think baking a cake for a gay wedding violates any Christian tenets, either. Go figure.
