there is something inherently un-American and authoritarian about a government sign that says, "If you don't like it, leave."
Nevermind that this is the sort of thing people say when they're lost an argument; Local government is supposed to represent the people, and listen to them, not deliver ultimatums about how they should live.
these sort of antics probably seem cute to the far right, but they would scare off normal people.
Pretty much the way they do it in the south. The law is just to be for the way they want it.!
If so then why aren't you calling it Christmas rather than xmas?
because i cant spell worth chit and xmas is a four letter word, get aboyt seven letter and im a gonna, remember i only have a fifth grade grammer level. but what does that have to do with sayinh merry xmas
You note that I did say "NORMAL PEOPLE" ..not those who think their ideations somehow must be respected over and above others ....I don't give a care how or what people say or do during any celebrated date on the Calendar..including Easter, Good Friday, Patriot Day or whatever has been declared a holiday!
For example..I do not celebrate Hanukkah..But I respect the Jewish people who do. I would even share a "Happy Hanukkah" to anyone I know that are Jewish
Not all Christians celebrate Christmas, but you must be a Christian to celebrate Christmas. believing in "the Spirit of giving" is not Christmas, Christmas is about the celebration of the birth of Christ.( we are in a thread about political correctness after all).
The only other thing you could be arguing here is the celebration of a non Christian holiday that falls on Christmas, which again, wouldnt be them celebrating Christmas
No, you do NOT have to be a Christian to celebrate Christmas
