Also on that note, for many before the ACA that is exactly what would happen anyway. Get sick, lose job, lose coverage, lose assets, go completely broke, collect welfare...........However, I do agree the ACA sucks. In time it will fail for the same reason the old system failed, because it is the same old system on steroids.
The reasons WHY policies are so dam expensive needed to be fixed. ACA does NOTHING to address this fact, in fact it contributes to making it far more expensive for those who have to pay for it either through higher deductibles or premiums.

The problem is that Republicans want most of the burden to be on the poor and middle class, the people least likely to be able to handle that. Again, I am not saying that the tax structure in some of these places is the way to go, but you're selling the idea that America is so completely dumb that it is unable to figure out how to create a working health care system that doesn't screw over the lower and middle classes. Nonsense.
You can ridicule the fact that services need to be paid for but that doesnt make people like doctors etc work for free.

But then you're going to be sending in your check right? oh wait.. you fled the country, and dont even have to follow ACA.. what a guy..

Exactly. They want it, but are unwilling to pay for it, unlike everyone else in all the other 1st world countries who DO pay. It's sickening how entitled they feel without accepting the need to contribute.

I'm guessing it's because many of you want the benefits without having to pay the costs.
What an original claim. What was that, #5 on your list of Super Conservative Insults for Poor People? Yes, it's well known that Republicans believe poor people are societal leeches deserving of severe ridicule and ostracizing.

Travel insurance is needed. Have you picked up insurance here in the US yet? However, I've heard Mexico's healthcare is not that good, neither is China. However, the US can do much better than those two nations, instead I think we rank up there around 37th place in suckiness.

I dont call encouraging people to live in poverty compassionate, unlike you lefties who have no problem spending other peoples money.

Oh hell, you're calling for spending other peoples money, and you dont even live here.. oooh the irony

I'm listing for you the failures in ACA, and why its IMPOSSIBLE to do what they promised, using first hand experience.
It seems to be working for you just fine. If you are uncomfortable with other people paying higher fees so you can have insurance, then find a plan elsewhere. Otherwise, you are simply an enormous hypocrite.

Its working for me because OTHER PEOPLE ARE PAYING FOR IT..

I'm not 5, and while I might benefit from programs into place, this doesnt mean it doesnt come at someone elses expense. Not acknowledging that, would be hypocritical.. I'm far more than willing to state it because its the truth..

Wait, liberals want people to live in poverty? Interesting theory, but just for the sake of argument, I would love to hear the recordings of the liberal cabal plotting to keep millions in poverty, and how that in no way contradicts them supporting all of the safety nets that Republicans work hard to destroy.

Oooh, you claim to have free insurance to the detriment of others and then criticize the program because it allows others to do the same. So shady.

Your 25% administration cost is ridiculous given the private sector currently does it far less, given ACA mandates them to..
You're not looking at the bigger picture. Why have medicare, medicaid, Indian Health? Reinvent medicare, ditch the rest, ditch the multitudes of coding, control costs. And no, the private for-profit sector in delivering health care in this nations is the worst in all modern first world countries by far and getting worse.
