While death rates for Blacks and Hispanics continue to decline there is a surge in White death rates. The leading cause is drug overdoses, which is up 20%+

Addiction / overdose is a hot topic in the NH primary.

The candidates that do the best job of promising to " do something" will probably win.

Thanks Obama. I'm sure this is somehow his fault. Probably goes into white schools and gives children candies laced with oxy.

It's a symptom of an economy where opportunity has been sent overseas to make a few very rich. Audacity of Hope? Nope

It's Obama bending over for every crony capitalist that has ever walked into his office in the last 8 years.

That's cute, blaming Obama for someone's drug overdose.

Not surprising.

Rural, conservative areas of the country are very boring and low-energy. Not much going on these days except teen pregnancies and meth.

While I'm sure there's a lot of that going on in poor rural areas prescription drug abuse is also exceptionally popular in rich white suburbs.

The amount of kids going into hospitals here in Orange County for prescription drug overdoses is staggering.
