Oh yeah.........

Making it an issue without substance is hot air.

When it comes to jobs I cannot take someone who secures hundreds of visas for temporary workers in Palm Beach instead of hiring locally.

I think Trump is Obama 2.0 the more I listen to his rhetoric
He is telling people what they want to hear rather than what he will do, since a lot of his business involved dealing with the top Globalists in this country.

The American People need to elect an America First person not funded by the Globalist Corporations and Banks. I would vote for anyone that would kick them out of DC.

Bernie is not funded by them and most of his campaign is funded by individuals so he is one option.

There is and always was a minimum wage for almost every industry (agreed wages between unions and employers associations). Significant above the general minimum wage.
Looks to me like the Minimum Wage depends on sector and geographical area.

Minimum wage for a " Meat " worker is 8 Eur which is about $7.12 USD, a very low wage in Germany.

What I would like to know is, how is Planned obsolescence and devolving to lower quality goods good for humans? Making the lowest possible quality products is an aim we should look for?

What is wrong with that picture?
Where is the Green in that as well?

If Globalism is to reduce resources since Americans consume so much, then how does producing low quality goods help that?

And yet... People aren't fleeing to Mexico, India, Vietnam, China, and Africa for those jobs and the awesome quality of life they bring.

The "free market" is just an ideal not a reality as it has never existed. What America needs is a better balance.

America needs to invest in itself again like it did in the post war boom of the mid century, infrastructure and more infrastructure.

We still manufacture and export a lot of goods, it's just that it takes quite a few less workers to do it. Oil and gas prices are low but that won't last and we will be in a good position to take back market share from opec and other large non North American producing countries. We need to focus more on our strengths, like innovation, as no one comes close.

Innovation comes from competition in wanting to out do the other company but all we see today is companies shuffling stocks around on Wall Street or buying puppet politicians with their excess cash to keep the next quarter profits rosy.

You do not have competition when Banks are allowed to collude together to rig interest rates as they have done or Corporations collude together with agreements like the TPP that protects them and screws the buying consumer and workers that are part of the market as well.

You do not need agreements at all if you are competing on the open market like everyone else has to.

The Bay Area (San Francisco and San Jose) is the most innovative place in the world. Place likes Silicon Valley and other similar areas all have one thing in common, great higher education. Boston, NYC, Research Triangle (NC), Austin, Seattle, etc are all areas that are very innovative.

You're confusing two separate issues.

No other country has a Google or Apple or Facebook. China certainly has some big companies, but they aren't very innovative and sometimes/often times just downright steal innovation.

Complete scumbags. I'm glad Trump was the only one to mention this.

"This is strictly a business decision."

Code word for - you won't be getting any of these new profits, and no thank you for your service, no severance and you are SOL.

It is amazing no one took him down during that heartless speech.
