Most posters will not read European newspapers but the Europeans will hear and see the news.

First they were told to have a heart and to let the refugees in as their stories were so sad and now more and more comes out that many of them are not from Syria but act like they are from there to simply join the wave of refugees and get free entitlements.

Aside from the violence, rapes, theft a lot of Europeans are just sick of having to pay for millions of people who just want a better life and take their jobs.

Nothing wrong with wanting a better life but at least be honest and don't act like your life was in danger.

It is not strange that Brexit happened.

This will go down in History as a major event we are all witnessing and caused by politicians who feel better than the people and believe that what they come up with the rest has just to sit and pay for.

Got it from the BBC who cites polling by Lord ********. Appears generally accepted. BBC notes that the areas with high young populations also voted less. Areas of high elderly population, low education and low foreign populations all voted very highly for leave.

EU referendum: The result in maps and charts - BBC News

Not aware the revote petition found fraudulent more that some were obviously packing it. I would find in much more irrelevant than fraudulent.

I don't know how things work for other workers, but for me, I derive most of my income from a J.O.B. The stock market provides an additional form income, but the original money I started with came via going to work.

Aside from that, you don't make any money in the stock market until you sell, except when you receive dividends and other forms of payment.
Sure seems to work for tens of millions of retirees who no longer work.

How do you think adequate growth occurred in their pension funds and retirement accounts to fund their pensions and retirements? Investments and the stock market. Not possible without that.

The same demographic that voted to leave maybe is the same group who when young, supported to be in in the early 70's?

Just caught a brief segment on our PBS. A British Politician said this was ONLY an advisory vote for Parliament and policy can't be dictated by Mob Rule.

Mob Rule must be liberal slang for Democratic vote.

It says the younger voters are the ones that didn't bother.

Try retiring without a pension or 401K, etc. Think you can make it on just SS minus what's deducted for Medicare premiums?

That's why QE and ZIRP were so important: to prop up the stock market for the tens (or more) of millions of Americans who depend on pensions/401Ks/etc. to fund their retirement.

That's great. LOL

Consider that Cameron resigned based on "mob rule".
So did UK’s EU commissioner Lord Hill.

Maybe they should have waited for this elitist politician's pronouncement before they resigned.

Who is this British politician anyway who wants to diss the people's wishes?

I hope "the elites" succeed. No country should be ruled by moronacy.
