I believe the number is correct, but it's a percentage of a percentage.

It's 40% of the total unemployed. For example, 40% of 6.5% (just picking a number of the top of my head).

40% of unemployed workers are millennials - MarketWatch

We are sooooo screwed.
The selfie unemployed handout duck-face generation will be running this country in the near future. Hopefully I will be dead within the next 10 years.

Too bad those parasitic babyboomers won't retire until they're 80 with a foot in the grave. Should make mandatory retirement at 65. Gtfo and die already.

Nah. The Liberals made it necessary for everyone to work until death in order to fund all the programs for the leeches. Can't afford to retire. Just not happening.
Even at my expense I would laugh my ass off if the millennials get screwed out of social security.

Or tax their gross at 70% with no deductions after age 65 and bar collection of SS.

We should really look into euthanasia laws in this country.
Anybody who isn't pulling their weight no matter what age or race or whatever should be put down. Humanely put down of course. If you're too old or have been on welfare and foodstamps for more than a certain period of time and cannot find a way to better yourself and become a productive member of society then you need to be out down. I also think abortion should be legal to the age of 2. Actually no age limit on abortion.
No more life in prison either, anything past what would normally be a 10 year sentence should be instantly euthanized. We could save so much money and dramatically improve QOL for many Americans if we implemented euthanasia laws and policies.

Oh yeah, and anyone who is not able to go to college and become an "educated person" should be put down as well. If we start with putting down the "uneducated" it will make things much smoother going forward.

Pathetic. Boomers experienced the greatest expansion in the economy ever seen in history and still couldn't make it. Talk about REALLY failing to launch. What an embarrassment to our country they've been.
