(I have a graduate degree in science.)
The story said:

Quote:
Menzio had been on the first leg of a connecting flight to Ontario, where he would give a talk at Queen’s University on a working paper he co-authored about menu costs and price dispersion. His nosy neighbor had spied him trying to work out some properties of the model of price-setting he was about to present.
So he was doing work on a presentation he was about to make, which probably thousands of people do on business flights every day.

Race card doesn't work here: people of Italian family; even dark skin dudes and ladies, they're "anglo white" and, WILL get pissed if confused with certain other minorities.

I usually take a Rubik's cube when I'm flying, to keep me occupied. I suppose that'll get me on the no-fly list before long.

It wasn't that he was doing math it was the fact he was such a weirdo! The kind of weird that blows himself up!

Lefties are so ashamed of being called *gasps* racist that they end up taking the belief to their early graves. Or they end up doing 15yrs hard labor in North Korea That's funny

I don't care how much of a hurry I'm in, I'll gladly wait two hours on the tarmac to get things squared away and safe.

This story could of so easily been "Observant Passenger Saves Hundreds of Lives".

Four planes took off on September 11; all were carrying Arabic men acting weird and surrounded by Lefties more afraid of being called racist than pointing out the obvious. How does one reach that point of brainwashing, I'll never know.

I get that in this day and age it seems pretty weird to work hard and intently on something instead of engaging in random stupid small talk chit-chat with some bubble headed blonde chick, but there was really no weirdness about his behavior because he didn't want to waste work time talking with her.
