When gays and lesbians secure the right to marry in all fifty states, it will be called marriage, because that's exactly what it will be.

It doesn't matter to me I'm just against the use of the term Marriage and not the concept of Homosexuals Having The SAME RIGHTS AS MARRIED FOLK now can you understand me now , just do it under ANOTHER NAME.......(this is a tempest in a tea cup).....And unlike a lot of folks on this Forum I Know the logic behind the Drive for Homosexual Marriage which is a PR Campainge To (Normalize Homosexuality) to the same LEVEL AS HETEROSEXUALITY...Chill Out And Have A Great Day Everybody......

How are homosexuals trying to normalize homosexuality by legalizing gay marriage. I don't see this anywhere execpt in the imagination of conservatives. All getting legalizing marriage and calling it gay marriage is a form of equal rights. How is it going to infringe on any heterosexual person's way of life.

How about you change the name you call "marriage."
Since there's no "right" to the name, you'll need something you can control.

"equal but separate" is not equal... we learned this lesson with segregated schools...
as for any marriage with a man or a woman it is the same.. its a commitment under the law to another person. If you can make babies.. more power to you.. if you can't and have to adopt.. even more power to ya..
equal but separate is not logical or acceptable in a nation that prides itself on freedom... what year are you people living in? 1950? extend freedom and equality to everyone or get out of the way so others can.
