You can never prove how much injury you prevented by destroying freedom and liberty. But it makes politicians look good.

Can you tally all the stabbings and shootings that have not occurred since switch blades were banned, and machine guns were highly taxed?
Some how the anti-gunners have a secret crystal ball that displays that information.

When you tell people it's now or never that's what happens. If they do another AW ban that won't be effective until Jan 1 2017 you'll see a run on stuff the likes of we've never seen before.

I'm good because mine are already listed AW

I don't wait for an excuse. If I find something that might be fun at the range, and I can afford it, I buy it.

We've had these weapons available for decades without so many mass shootings. What's been changed? Well, we didn't have so many muslim people? That's probably the main difference.

You keep pointing this out but it's a distinction without much of a difference... Semantics is not the hill you want to die on.

You can't be serious....

Sandy Hook Shooter - not Muslim

Charleston Church Shooter - Not Muslim

Columbine shooters - not Muslim

VA Tech shooter - not Muslim

Umpqua Community college shooter - Not Muslim

Colorado Movie Theater shooter - not Muslim ( did I miss any? )

Most people know I'm on the pro-gun side of this, but I can't stand disingenuous arguments, regardless of whether they are coming from the Left, or Right.

Now go straighten your Trump yard sign, I think it's a little crooked...

I like it! Not sure about the want to die on that hill, but lots and lots of people commenting in these threads sure love living there!

Also BTW as previously posted...

Editor’s note: This story focused on the AR-15 rifle, which was the weapon used in several recent mass shootings. Orlando law enforcement officials initially said this was the same gun type used in the Pulse nightclub shooting, but later clarified that the Orlando shooter was using a Sig Sauer MCX. The Sig Sauer MCX is a rifle with several similarities to the AR 15-style and was originally designed for use by U.S. special operation forces. The NewsHour regrets the confusion.
