They are taught to pretend they are anything but Muslim to accomplish their goals. They came in as refugees, they weren't really refugee's. They are told to act western, not go to Mosque, not wear Muslim garb, etc. That's usually what they say is part of the plan so it's hard to tell if these were just lone wolfs who aren't attached or just good at their jobs.
Just like the Orlando jihadist was not a true muslim. Even though ISIS came out and took credit for both attacks. Why does the media want to go out of their way every time this happens to to tell us it wan't about religion?
Most of the Jihadists are young men and women, even though they consider themselves Muslims, just like most people who practice forms of religions, they do the same things that normal people do. Eat pork, watch porn, covet money and fast cars, murder people, curse, etc etc.
Their gang is very similar to many gangs around the world, only they have infused their "God" and spun this to be a holy war.
I see no difference in jihadists eating pork as Drake saying he's a Jew while rapping about murder...
Big questions though:
Was it a calculated plan or did he just though of ramming crowd to kill few and ended up killing way more than what he thought he can?
Why something like this never happened before?
What measures are there to prevent it? Probably spike strip around large gatherings?

Seems to be the connection when someone crosses over into ( self?) radicalization or mass murder.
On Wednesday, this whack job was an unemployed petty criminal, nobody. Today, everyone knows his name.

From all the reports I saw on French TV it screams he planned it. He parked on that the very street he plowed people down on for over 9 hours. When police originally contacted him about being parked there 9 hours before the killing happened, he claimed he was a ice cream delivery man yet the truck wasn't a refrigerated one. The police took him for his word and didn't check his story despite France being on such a high alert. Also with the weapons found in the truck, it certainly points to planned.
I read an article that said this is not the first time a terrorist used a vehicle to do damage to people in France.
