The problem is that it should start with the parents. The problem is that it often doesn't start with the parents, and that's not just in Black households. So then what does society do? Just flounder?
Some thought Philando Castile carrying a gun in his lap with a child in the backseat was expressing his right to carry.
Some thought his girlfriend getting high on the 4th of July with child in the back seat, was her right as a mom.
So you tell us where should society start? Seems charging them is "racist" and questioning any of their actions is intruding on their "rights."
Let me clue in on something about White people. Take the KKK and other White Supremacists out of it. The overriding sentiment in general is this. We had the history of slavery and have done our best to right those wrongs. Incredible progress has been made since then. We have evolved since that aforementioned time and can not constantly be held responsible for something we had no hand in. It is what it is. We now share the same boat of living together. What truly impresses White people is to see Black people rise through the ranks and make it to the top in this nation. Sports, politics, law etc. you name it. More luck to you my fellow American. That would be said about anybody regardless of race or origin.
1. First, it should not be called acting white to want to learn.
2. Work for welfare. When people work they have less time to cause trouble,
3. Teach family and morals. It's not ok to be a single mother or baby daddy that doesn't take responsibility, a single parent surely leads to poverty no matter what race. Why is that so excepted in the black community?
3. Finance... realize that the middle class has things because they work and many print money (debt)
4. Teach that no one deserves because they exist. Also teach life is not easy for most, no matter what race.
All of those things are good, but how do you institute them?
Think about it. First, cops are not their parents. it is everyone's responsibility to be law abiding citizens. It should be taught from the very beginning. Secondly, look what happens when cops do fight crime in black precincts. Blacks get in an uproar and claim racism. Either they want safety or they don't. I'd rather panhandle than serve in these area's.
You make it sound as if "they" are all the same. There are good people in the inner city and there are bad people in the inner city.
As I said before, the left is always accusing the right of all being the same but you'll deny that. It's how the left thinks.
But to your statement, blacks are not all the same but the problem is and has been shown over and over, blacks will defend blacks when they are wrong because they are black. If you want to change it, stop being defensive instead speak out against what they are doing.
Just as white cops will defend white cops. Any minority group tends to defend others in their minority group...as long as they are in the minority.
When they realize "slavery" was a time when the WHOLE world was involved. We have come way pat it, but some are claiming lynching is still going on. I saw a sign that said, whites are obligated to give them food stamps, a place to live and all of their needs.....just who is teaching this?
I notice most of this seems to come from 2nd and 3rd generation black Americans, yet Native Americans are not hating America. Makes one wonder why would they live in a country that they hate, have they thought about moving to North Korea, or Cuba?
Yet, many think socialism would be a great change for America, like Cuba is now.

2. Yes, I always hear American Indians state how much they love the United States of America and how much they love their living status on the reservations. (Sarcasm, in case it got past you).

Actually in terms of economics, the raw number of whites on the system is a much more severe fiscal drain than blacks on welfare. So it's actually pretty relevant to bring up.
However this doesn't mean that welfare is NOT a problem in the black community, because it is. But welfare reform has kicked many black people off of the system. The narrative that most poor blacks are sitting back collecting a check is pretty far from the truth. The reality is that you can't even get assistance without a job these days.
We really need to demystify this misinformation about our land being a Welfare State. It is not. Similar to Europe some would say , as they give out free dole payments for life to its people. Now, where are the life long UI payments for unemployed people here . There is none. Something like 26 weeks and no more. Barely enough time for some people to even start interviewing for jobs. The catch is you have to have worked for for at least a year before you are eligible for payments. So thank the govt. for more illnesses coming from stress and excess anxiety as people struggle for their lives. You have to find ways to live and survive, it is a natural human instinct. If there was life long UI, there would be less crime as, despite what some might say, many Black guys or any guys for that matter would just grin and bear it and put up with their lot in life. The crime rate would go down, as resentment of authority, hopelessness and bitterness would decrease as a result.
Black mothers , as some define as Welfare mothers are women with the same natural instincts to produce offspring as any other. They look and see how their males are either in prison or to die at a young age. Their people are dying and it strikes a chord of a basic right to existence. The amount of money given to these women is quite small and we should stuff that urban myth once and for all.
What we have right now is token Welfare assistance. Just enough so we don't get attacked by our allies as being as being complete brutes , looking to the sky and spewing rhetoric at will while doing little for our fellow man , Black man , White man or any man in this land.
There's no point in having these discussions. Whites won't get the black side and blacks won't get the white side.

I've made this same point time after time.
Blacks and whites DO NOT have to like or trust each other in this country. We never did in the past, and the country still hums right along. Whites set the country up this way and fought like hell to keep it like that. So leave it alone.
I don't know why that's not good enough for everyone.
