Opposing background checks just because you can't weed out 100% of dangerous people 100% of the time is the definition of stupid. Your strawman argument does not stand up to common sense.

Makes you wonder how this country ever survived 200+ years without requiring background checks?

Wasn't that long ago that you could order a rifle from Sears catalog and have it delivered to your door, no questions asked.

Yet somehow people who did that managed to not go around shooting up schools or night clubs.

So what"s changed?

The weapons haven't changed significantly in 100 years...,

First all these morons are all like "yeah - we need LAW and ORDER!"

Then it's... well, let's not have any laws on guns; people are just gonna break the laws anyways, so why bother?

No more statutory laws of men, would work.
Natural laws and natural liberties will still be in existence, because they are not made by men to rule over other men.

Humanity also survived tens of thousands of years without civilization; doesn't make going back to that state such a hot idea.

That is how I bought my Winchester Rifleman 30-30 when I was 9 yo., from the money I made mowing grass in the neighborhood. Came with a box of cartridges. That box was gone in 10 minutes.
That is the rifle I kept in my truck, going to school.
Still have that rifle. It rides on the ATV.

Read a history book bro. Who determines and enforces these natural rights?
