Think hard!

How so?

They are both rights we have.
One is held at a higher standard than another?
The one needing ID now, even says it shall not be infringed.
"People" is not specific as government wants it to be.

Why does the right to vote say citizen, but the right to keep & bear arms, to maintain a free state, say people?

Your not going to police it. Its like policing some one who is drinking or driving. Sure you can do it I mean 90% chance won't get caught 10% you will. So if you are involved in an issue with police they find out you have a illegal firearm in your possession. Your going to be slapped with some time in prison.

What is an "illegal firearm" ??

There is no such thing?
You going to confiscate everyones right to keep and bear a firearm of their liberty?

You complain that criminals don't follow laws.

You complain that mental health is an issue.

Take the hint, and put forth actual solutions or they'll be made for you.
Who are "you folks?"

This is the biggest problem with the us vs. them herd mentality. Common sense is common sense which doesn't need to take a side.

Oh please... it's a perfectly good comparison which is consistently ignored because it reveals the left are blatant hypocrites when it comes to votes.

Yes it does and has. Voting for consonants and ignoring character has killed far more people than guns.

Either that, or he was talking on an ear-mounted cell phone. I have seen lots of them.
In downtown Portland, the guy was clearly high on meth and muttering nonsense to himself. I see a lot of meth and heroine abusers around downtown everyday.

The only way you would have an illegal firearm in my state is if a felon had it. Anyone 19 and over can have a gun in their car, and the state is prohibited by law from registering guns.
