Used to be Democrats were hard against illegal immigration... they said then (and its still true now) that illegal immigration holds down wages for those that are here legally.
Now they have done the calculus. if you allow illegal immigration, then legalize the illegals, you get democrat voters.
It seems where democrats are concerned, votes are more important than people having good paying jobs.
of course, democrats have done the calculus on that too... people with good paying jobs don't vote democrat. but people without jobs do.
So by lying about the republican position, they kill two birds with one stone, they get more illegals and they keep wages low. they get more votes from legalized illegals, and they get more people addicted to government support

Democrat policies cause misery, drive down wages, increase poverty, and then the very people whose policies caused these problems ask stupid voters to reelect them, to supposedly fix what's broke.
But the truth is, it's a better model in the minds of Democrat politicians to keep breaking the economy and keeping people down, so they can continue to set themselves up as the only people who will fix it.
That's how after eight years of 0bama, Hilary and the dems can make speeches at this convention, with a trillion dollar laundry list of broken crap we are supposed to vote for them to fix. You can't fix stupid, but apparently Democrats can elect it into office.
That is a violation of the right to life and work.
The REAL REMEDY is to abolish socialism, so there is no BENEFIT to hiring undocumented aliens under the table.
Without taxes on American labor, bureaucratic paperwork, insurance, etc, etc, it will be far more profitable to hire AMERICAN labor.
And without taxes on American laborers, any salary will have more BUYING POWER, regardless.
Of course, that solution is politically incorrect and unacceptable to the RECIPIENT NATION (60% of the electorate).
You don't have a right to work if you are not a citizen, c'mon you know that.
Pretty racist comment from a liberal. My wife and her sister / mother came here LEGALLY from Poland 15 years ago, not speaking English. They don't work in AG fields or change bedsheets.
What the heck? I am an American born and raised. White female and I clean houses. I have worked in the nursing homes cleaning up after the elderly and sick. In my part of this country the Caucasians are still the majority so if the illegals were not here there would be plenty of people who would do those jobs. Matter of fact because the illegals are hired it leaves less jobs for people who are here legally.
This goes on and on at this group. Did anyone ever think all the work these people do that YOU and ME do not want to do.
For starters, picking produce in the ag fields of our country. And many die from heat stroke and horrible back issues and knee issues from being in the ground picking OUR FOODS.
Our landscaper/gardner works around our bldg twice a week and does me favors and I will give him a little cash now and then, which he refuses but I push it in his pocket. He is the best person and never a complaint.
Then, just talking to my neighbor who has to be in a rehab facility now going on a month as she fell and broke her shoulder. Who do you think works around the clock in those facilities, people from so many parts of the world...doing so much dirty work that WE do not want to do. Cleaning up s**t, changing adult diapers, helping people walk....You want to do this kind of work?
Then there are a ones who are hired to clean houes, clean toilets, take care of children.
Stop and think about this all you spoiled americans and STOP the bashing. Be thankful when you spend your unemployment and welfare checks and spend your food stamps.
Well, Cleaning houses and their toilets is not a bad job, and done by more Americans than "immigrants". Taking care of children is a good paying job as well. Trust me,most parents can't even afford childcare. All these jobs you are mentioning are done by tax paying Americans and legal immigrants. The problem is when these jobs are done by criminals.

Typically we tend to ignore idiots, especially foreign hypocrites (mostly jealous) who demand we do what they tell us to do. Maybe you should go meet Bob Marley and ask him what he thinks.
