If I carry a lot of money and don't take precautions to keep it safe and get robbed I blame myself as much as the thief who robs me.
The DNC was careless in an age of cybercrime. I detest hackers and criminals. That said you can't blame the hackers because the DNC was careless or for the content of the emails. The reality is that if the hackers did this to Trump, the Clinton supporters would be calling them heroes.

He is a fugitive from the law, wanted in several countries (which also makes him a coward like Snowden), as well. He has absolutely no moral imperative to interfere with the US election process, but feels he is important enough to do this (as does Putin).
He is not Putin, but certainly has a massive amount of goals and sociopathic personality issues in common with him. One can only hope karma exists and will get him in the end.

I think the left is missing a huge gap in their logic about Russia trying to influence our election. The DNC server was hacked quite a while ago. This is not recent. Assange is the one who chose the timing of releasing the emails on the eve of the DNC convention. Ergo, it's actually Assange trying to influence the election - something he has already admitted to doing and wanting to do.
So, what's the next spin? Trump is working with Assange??

In the case of the DNC e-mails, Assange didn't hack into the DNC. Someone else did. And that someone else then leaked the e-mails to Assange. In this particular case, the hacker fingerprints, the traces that the hackers left behind, are the tell-tale traces of Russian state hackers. Ergo, Russian state hackers hack into the DNC. They then organize the information they've obtained. Cherry-picking the info they want to release, and releasing it according to a timetable they design. The vehicle they choose to use to release the info is Wikileaks.
Assange is a great vehicle to use, because he's not an American, but he is an avowed enemy of Clinton.

Sure the Trump/hackgate/Russia thing is huge & going to grow worse for him (your boy may have cooked his goose with his TRAITOROUS big mouth this time!) but that's building the audience who now realize that something big is coming down this week.
Even without that aspect, the convention tv ratings have clobbered those of the gop convention & the coverage has made evident the professionalism of the presentations, the enthusiasm of the crowds & the excitement level & how overall it's become readily apparent now at mid week that it's becoming a more united convention.

The DNC and the FBI were monitoring the DNC servers. The DNC followed the instructions of the FBI and changed its protocols each time there was evidence of a breach. The hackers were able to overcome the new protocols each time.
The reality is that a foreign government is taking active steps to affect the outcome of an American election. And Trump supporters are cheering them on, to the point that Trump is inviting them to keep on hacking.
Looks as if the President and Hillary are NOT hiring the best to work for them......you can spin it anyway that makes you comfortable, we all know it is the people in control who are at fault. Not Russia, Assange or Trump, get real!
