Russia called for an emergency session of the U.N. Security Council and demanded "full and detailed explanations about whether this was deliberate support of the Islamic State or another mistake."
Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova was quoted by the state news agency TASS as saying that "after today's attack on the Syrian army, we come to the terrible conclusion that the White House is defending the Islamic State."

Make no mistake, this bombing had to be intentional.
Russia and US shared all satellite info on ISIS.

The Syrian Air Base that was bombed by the U.S. was many miles away
from ISIS, they were not under attack, and the American bombers
took them by surprise.

Death count now 80.

Wow, sounds like MURDER to me........USA, USA, USA!!!!

Great, and as a topper, it sounds like the USA is supporting a bunch of grubby Islamists.....wow, that makes a lot of sense.

I wonder if the Libs/Dog****ocrats are going to be calling for the UN/ICC to come into the
USA and take a certain POTUS into custody.........NAH, hypocrites to the core!

Hmmm. Well, unlike some, I don't see a snooze factor in this. If the Russians decide to engage our air power over this, it vets ugly, fast. Ohhh, and I don't think we're ready to get into such a ...little scrap. Since the same prez, who's managed to gut our Navy, the primary force projection we have in the region, down to a frazzled end, seems to think he has far more toys to play with in the sandbox than he really does, this could get to be a bit less fun than he's thinking.

Friendly fire incidents and deaths are not new in war.

Canadian ground troops in Afghanistan were misidentified, bombed, and killed by a US F-16.

Syria conflict: US air strikes 'kill dozens of government troops' - BBC News

The US Central Command statement said the coalition believed it was attacking positions of so-called Islamic State and the raids were "halted immediately when coalition officials were informed by Russian officials that it was possible the personnel and vehicles targeted were part of the Syrian military".

It said the "Combined Air Operations Center had earlier informed Russian counterparts of the upcoming strike".

It added: "Syria is a complex situation with various military forces and militias in close proximity, but coalition forces would not intentionally strike a known Syrian military unit. The coalition will review this strike and the circumstances surrounding it to see if any lessons can be learned."

Washington’s decision to attack Syrian forces was likely premeditated.
Good article from the RT :
