Anti-Democratic obsessions have driven a few totally nuts. If Trump were to somehow win I suspect a few on the left would go completely unhinged as well. People are.......hyper focused on our differences instead of our commonalities,and it gets kinda....crazy at times.

Russia has successfully conducted three separate ballistic rocket launches. Two tests were carried out by Russian submarines from the Northern and Pacific fleets, while another intercontinental ballistic missile was launched from the Plesetsk space center.
Unless they use nuclear weapons the US would destroy their military in weeks, if not days. No way do they want a war without much more time to prepare. They are not ready.
It has to do with belt-tightening in Russia. It doesn't look good for the families of officials to continue with more extravagant lifestyle while cuts are made to the government budget.
If WW3 starts we all lose. Or do you have an underground bunker that you can live in for years like the Walton family who own Walmart?
