Of course I would. I would prefer if my son married and had a family with a female but if my son turns out to be gay/trans etc then I just want him to be happy and find somebody that makes him happy.
Are there any studies that determine whether societies that promote homosexuality eventually promote non-binary and qqueer lifestyle (qqueer as in the Q in LGBTQ), and have a rise in its young people raised in such a culture, who say they are neither heterosexual or homosexual?
I ask because within a certain age range of the British youth, per some published study done I believe, the majority (over 50%) of them in that age range stated they neither regard themselves as heterosexual or homosexual.
But in terms of your question the children of ancient Sparta, raised by men in women that engaged in same sex sexual relations, all took same sex sexual partners.
My own view has come to be that the term "heterosexual" and "homosexual" were created to shift perceptions the way the newer term "cis women" does--shifts perception. I don't think anyone is innately heterosexual or homosexual. That is not to say I deny most people develop a prevailing or exclusive heterosexual oriented attraction, and smaller percent one towards the homosexual oriented attraction.
Thanks , appreciate it . It seems to me to be only natural for people to be more attracted to the opposite sex for procreation if nothing else . Even in the animal world nature takes its course & males & females seek out each other , otherwise living things such as humans & animals would quickly become extinct .
I would not accept his homosexuality but I would accept him or her. Just as a person would not accept them taking drugs but still love them regardless . One can still respect and love them if they fall into any situation one does not approve of. I would not reject the person, I would object to the behavior.
But how do you continue a loving relationship with your kids of you don't accept them for what they are? We are not talking about your kid being a criminal, unless his crime is love for the "wrong human being"...
I don't know...I guess it's just really hard for me to understand how a parent cannot want their child to be happy. If my parents disapproved of my family I would be devastated and I probably would be forced to make a choice.

That's seems hard to believe. Can you post the study?
Accepting the reality that ones child has a mental illness can be difficult for some, but approving of it and encouraging it is not the same as accepting it.

I might have an issue but I would try, I really don't know how I would react until it happens.
