Correct. He dished out his veiled threats if we voted to leave the EU. We still voted out.

Trump is out of his depth on the international stage vs. someone like Putin. He's getting played and will almost certainly fall for it.
Obama was out of his depth on the international stage. Putin played him for almost eight years and now he put on the finishing touch. Good bye Obama.

Meanwhile Russia has spent the last three years in the Russian Financial Crisis... Real solid leadership. Just running those circles around Obama. If only Obama could lead us into a recession too, eh comrade?

Would that be any different than Obama printing up close to $8 Trillion that we don't have to keep the USA going?

But please. In terms of leadership, can you name one city in Russia, which crosses 11 time zones, that is even close to as dangerously violent as that of inner city Chicago?

In Putin's statement, he said he doesn't want to "Stoop to Obama's level". That sounds like he is following the same advice that our mothers used to give many of us as children. This is a smart move by Putin which very likely will be reciprocated by Donald Trump in three weeks when he takes office. In fact, would it surprise anyone to discover that Trump had called Putin in order to coordinate the handling of this matter?

Let's remember, while hacking is bad for everyone, right now it is an international free-for-all, with literally every major spy agency out hacking each other pretty much daily with wild abandon. So this is something that has been going on for years, not only by the Russians against us, but by us against the Russians, and positively everyone knows it. However, there is precisely zero evidence that the Russians hacked our actual election, which Obama has himself confirmed several times.

It was not until Hillary Clinton lost the election that Obama became alarmed about this, and that is what this action is truly about. That and trying to undermine Trump by sabbotaging his and our relationship with the Russians.

So Vladimir Putin has seized the high ground and our petulant child president appears to be even more of a self-absorbed, irresponsible, sniveling punk than he did yesterday, if that were possible. The good news is, while the Russians are still our adversaries, it appears that a more thoughtful and responsible chapter in the relationship between our two countries will likely begin in 22 days.
Sore loser party using the power of government to create international conflict to deflect blame from its political disaster. John Podesta is a private citizen. Private citizens get their email hacked every day. It is not the purpose of government to create international conflict if a private citizen gets his email compromised. Podesta was careless to get his email hacked perhaps falling for a phishing attack or having an insider get a copy of his email files. The DNC is a private organization. Private organizations their email hacked every day. It is not the purpose of government to create international conflict as a response to a private organization getting its email hacked. The DNC was careless to get its email hacked by an external or internal source.

Trump was the victim of illegal disclosure of his private information. Someone exposed information from a Trump tax return. Someone released a private recording between Trump and Billy Bush. In both cases, Democrats and media cheered. No one blamed the leaker (hacker).
When Democrat dirty laundry gets exposed, Democrats and media blame the leaker. Our dear leader has used the power of government to shift blame from the losing party and candidate to the leaker. Democrat lawlessness to an extreme.

Trump made an excellent response. Putin was wise not to retaliate. Democrat lawlessness will be ended on January 20. 8 years of Democrat lawlessness must be undone. A good start will be a full prosecution of HER crimes. Lock HER up

Regardless of that claim being true or not, the fact is in terms of public statesmanship, Putin just made Obama look like a two bit turd who couldn't buy himself into a 3rd rate water park. Seriously, I do not think Russia is our alley, nor Putin a "good" man, but he handed Obama his arse and then made him eat it.

Obama looks petty and stupid in this play. He is out of his league.

Yes b/c words like "financial crisis" and "recession" have definitions that Russia meets and the US doesn't? But we already know that you're fact-adverse, so definitions don't matter much.

russias economy is a one trick pony ( energy ) so of course it was going to suffer very badly this past number of years , its economy came on leaps on bounds from the time putin took office until oil began a very sharp descent

its not a well diversified economy , nor is it modern , putin is the kind of leader russians have always liked however , its up to them to get rid of him

its somewhat troubling that an incoming president would side with a foreign power just for political point scoring , i guess the issue is not that important though , not like putin and russia did anything every other major power doesnt do all the time
