You do realize this is one of Trump's biggest weaknesses right? It's extremely important to him to be liked by celebrities. That's why he attacks any that criticize him. His ego can't handle him not being part of the cool kids' crowd.
So yes, this is eating Trump up and will continue to do so as pretty much every famous person hates his guts.
Democrats continue to trot out elitist, rich Liberals. Do you guys realize that this is partially why you lost? Middle America doesn't care what Hollywood thinks.
Yet they elected a billionaire celebrity reality tv personality who lives in a golden tower in the middle of the richest place in the country.
Yeah, elitist rich liberals are not why Trump won. Trump is the epitome of elitist rich. And Middle America is pretty freakin stupid if they think Trump is going to care about them.

Of course they're swooning... They're scared s***less that Trump will deport their illegal alien gardeners, housekeepers, nannies, etc., that they exploit for cheap labor. They might actually be forced to pay legal workers a living wage, and they want NO part of that.
Hollywood as an industry has a long way to go, but in a lot of ways it reflects its customers. Doesn't mean your friend has to act like a shallow arse.
I can "lecture" people if I like, I lived in Hollywood for 15 years and am one of the less than 5% of recording engineers in the world that are women - working in the high end commercial music business which is arguably worse.
It's his opinion, no more than anyone's opinion here. He said this maybe 30 years plus, no politics involved.
If you can't take it that's your problem. Don't pretend that Hollywood don't judge people by their looks.

But no matter. Trump has already brought 10s of 1000s of jobs to middle America and more are being announced each day. Elites in Hollywood continue to have a hissy fit.

He's produced and directed several major motion pictures including Bridesmaids. Did you know that many Hollywood films are shot in locations outside of Hollywood? Yep, and that means that Middle America benefits greatly from the film industry.
