You do realize this is one of Trump's biggest weaknesses right? It's extremely important to him to be liked by celebrities. That's why he attacks any that criticize him. His ego can't handle him not being part of the cool kids' crowd.

So yes, this is eating Trump up and will continue to do so as pretty much every famous person hates his guts.

Yeah, elitist rich liberals are not why Trump won. Trump is the epitome of elitist rich. And Middle America is pretty freakin stupid if they think Trump is going to care about them.

Of course they're swooning... They're scared s***less that Trump will deport their illegal alien gardeners, housekeepers, nannies, etc., that they exploit for cheap labor. They might actually be forced to pay legal workers a living wage, and they want NO part of that.

I can "lecture" people if I like, I lived in Hollywood for 15 years and am one of the less than 5% of recording engineers in the world that are women - working in the high end commercial music business which is arguably worse.
It's his opinion, no more than anyone's opinion here. He said this maybe 30 years plus, no politics involved.
If you can't take it that's your problem. Don't pretend that Hollywood don't judge people by their looks.

Trump uses illegal workers and doesn't even pay them a wage at all. You guys are baffling. The cognitive dissonance is off the charts.

So why are cons in such a hysterical panic? If celebs don't matter, then cons should put their money where their mouths are & ignore them.

Trump hires them? Prove it. Also prove that Trump's workers earn "no wage at all," as you've so ridiculously asserted.

Donald Trump is the modern Super Man, he is the man of steel.
Yep. He has a Purple Heart to prove it!

But no matter. Trump has already brought 10s of 1000s of jobs to middle America and more are being announced each day. Elites in Hollywood continue to have a hissy fit.

Now who do you think is earning Middle America's ear? ....... Thought so.
Oh, Judd Apatow is one of those job creators.

He's produced and directed several major motion pictures including Bridesmaids. Did you know that many Hollywood films are shot in locations outside of Hollywood? Yep, and that means that Middle America benefits greatly from the film industry.

Let's see now - ooh, Ohio -

Quote:
In Ohio, the film and television industry directly employs more than 11,000 people and pays $442 million in wages. Across the Buckeye State, more than 1,200 companies contribute to production for films like One film alone, Marvel’s large-scale production of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, paid $31 million to 750 vendors in Ohio.
Nation wide -

Quote:
In the U.S. alone, film and television supports 1.9 million workers in all 50 states —actors, writers, costume designers, make-up artists, stuntmen, set builders, special effects technicians, accountants, dry cleaners, cinema ticket takers, and many more. Film and television production and distribution, like other creative sectors of the economy, create a ripple effect on jobs and innovation in other industries.

We contribute more than $41 billion to over 345,000 businesses in a given year, along with more than $19.3 billion annually to federal and state tax coffers.
Indiana -

11,243 direct jobs, 1.77 billion in wages, 9,914 production related jobs.

I could go on, but I'd be here all day. Middle America has a huge stake in Hollywood.
