Not quite. Maybe almost half of those who voted...but only about half of the population voted. So really, more like 21.5% of white women. Not a majority. (The non-voters are a different topic, but presuming they would have all supported Trump is silly)
According to exit polls, the only demographic majority Trump won was white men.
Protests accomplish things when they have a clear and positive message that resonates with a majority of the people. What I'm seeing at this demonstration is a mix of competing themes and the only one that stands out at all is "Resist Trump," which is not a clear message. In addition, making yourself obnoxious by destroying property only draws attention from the cause to the behavior of the protesters. All that is why the '70s Anti-War Movement was successful, but the Occupy Movement, tho well-intentioned in theory, never really got anywhere or accomplished anything.
Are today's women marches destroying property? I had not heard that? Where is this happening?
Well, he was looking off to the left, for sure. But Melania Trump was not in that frame. How in the world could you decide ,what or who he was looking at.
Fake news. It's a public place. You can't "deny entry". There's probably plenty of MAGA-hatters among the pink.
Actually it isn't "fake news" the group was disinvited under the banner of the organizers. Just because you don't like the story doesn't make it "fake"
I looked at pictures of the protest. Typical raving, wild eyes loon leftists. They do the right a favor by showing off how bat**** crazy the left is. The average factory worker in PA, OH or MI is going to be completely repulsed by this.
That is hardly the point of the protests. Get real. There are a half million people there and they are not united by support for Planned Parenthood, but by a loathing for President* Trump for the vile comments he has made about so, so many Americans.
So what's worse?
Vile comments or vile actions like with the Clintons?
Who is more worthy of loathing? Someone who made vile comments or someone who engaged in vile actions against real victims and whose wife attempted to silence and ruin his victims for her own political aspirations?
The selective outrage here is ridiculous!
Also... I'm no fan of Trump and I did not vote for him but I do not think he is as misogynist as these protesters think. One of the top people in his campaign, if not the ARCHITECT of his victory was Kellyanne Conway. His own daughter is in a position of influence or confidence that not only rivals that of his sons but I think may exceed it. Many women have served in high positions in his businesses.
