After Obama won the 2012 presidential election republicans in all fifty states set up secession petitions.
When republicans loose they don't protest, instead they file papers and attempt to stop being US citizens (not exactly the behavior of non-hateful adults.)

Their view of the world is not one of the "liberal" founding Fathers.
In their world, all historically moderating doctrine is either marginalized or spun to mean something different than what it was written to mean.
In place of healthy political moderation, we have a group of automatons who are bent on dragging the entire world into their most extreme culturally Marxist social fantasies.
In their world, there is no Freedom or libertarianism, even though they also exploited libertarianism doctrines to justify every one of their social excesses and to squash any dissenting views. However, their type of "freedom" demands that no group can restrict what they allow in their social excess.
Why? For one, any group who might deem their excesses to be immoral would be evidence of a view that contradicts their own sense of supreme morality. Thus, it threatens their claim to their newly invented "objective" morality upon which their politics rests. They can only win, ultimately, if they are 'good' and those who believe in something that contests their worldviews are 'evil'.
Should such a group thrive because of the moral rejection of the social excesses of the Marxist liberals, that would also invalidate their system on a social level. They can't have that either.
For example: do you think that they could allow for a thriving nationalist country, no matter how small and out-of-the-way? No. Should it show-up their system, their system would lose its validity. And it would outshine it, due to the nature of nationalist vs socialist politics. So, the world cannot be allowed to see it.

After being a Democrat for the last 42 yrs - I'm changing my affiliation to Republican.
I've voted Democrat more than not, but this is not what it was about for everyone. For some of us, it was about a buffoon vs a self-serving lying, perjuring, witch who put Americans last and wanted to keep George Soros happy.
You may be fine with someone using a charitable foundation for personal expenses, and also fine with perjury, but some of us are not.
