It is no one's business whether she is fired or not except her employer's.
If she were my employee, I would balance her value to the company versus the bad press she brought in making my decision. I am sure NBC will do the same.
Personally, I found her comment pretty lame but only moderately offensive. Generally, the children of celebrities, whether political or entertainment are generally left alone because they cannot control their exposure to the public eye, and lacking anonymity, the offenses are more personal. It is a matter of decency.
On the other hand, 'anonymous' children are mocked and bullied mercilessly on various social media and meme sites.
delighted to see so many trumpy folk so offended when the shoe is on the other foot.
turns out republicans don't believe in free speech, turns out they believe in free speech for alt whites and rightwingers, just all long as they like what is being said...
You right wingers are so funny, first hint of free speech from the left and you want people fired.... authoritarian are like that though, they just don't like anyone else speaking up.
I bet trump is having people examine how he can restrict the press, you can be sure if he can figure out a way he will use it.
No. I don't think should she should be fired. The tweet was her lousy attempt to be funny. She wasn't.
