25 Democrat seats up for grabs in 2018. They are ripe to be converted to "R." If the Dem's keep this up, they will be converted.

Ahh, the misinformed. Now UAE, which funded Hillary Benghazi debacle, and Saudi Arabia are a concern for ya.. Laughable.
And Trumps not running business anymore. Family is. And both sides of the law, Dems/Repub agree. And the seven nations were approved by Obama in 2015/2016 as terrorist countries.

The anti Trump extremists are so eager to find any and all reasons to make noise that examining any issue from a practical standpoint, or any attempt to actually understand those in opposition to them just goes out the window. Thus , the proverbial baby goes out with the bathwater. If kicking open the doors for anyone and everyone looking to come here obstructs what Trump is trying to do, even if it lets in droves of terrorists, then it's a good thing. I'm not usually really big on the FOX pundit shows, but Trumpmade a good point in Hannity's interview the other night.

That being that we are not fighting an enemy in uniform with clearly defined battle lines and borders. Their attacks upon us don't have clear objectives of taking and holding ground or reducing our warfighting capabilities. The only objective is doing damage. The more human damage the better. The more innocent the targets the better. A busload of schoolchildren, a church full of peaceful worshipers, even a throng of people who are demonstrating on their behalf...these are prime and desirable targets. If memory serves "sneaky, dirty rats" was the term he used. We, as a nation, would do well to remember what sort of enemy it is we are up against. Trump is the president because more people than not recognize that now.

Lessons learned from Europe's open door actions with these throngs of "refugees" from ME hot beds are opening eyes. The roving gangs of rapist thugs and the shootings, bombings, vehicle rammings by "refugees" is telling. With the attacks here at home as well, CA and FL for example, people see we can't afford to be lax. people are putting the safety and security of their own communities and loved ones above the "humanitarian" concerns over "refugees". Is that so wrong? Not from my house. That the leftist movement is willing to employ violence and destruction of property in their obstructionist goals is widening the rift and firming resolve for support of Trump. Again, not surprising, since aligning ones agenda with the objective of an enemy in time of war doesn't tend to be met with much warmth.

Trump is doing what people elected him to do. Put the safety and security of our nation and its people above being concerned with being viewed as xenophobic or racist. Sense above sensibility. Whether the obstructionists like it or not, this is the world we live in. We can ill afford to be placating, appeasing and trusting about the motives of people wanting to come here from enemy territory. Yes, there's flaws in the application at the moment. There's sure to be teething pains. Things are moving fast, but they are indeed moving. I can't ever remember a president elect moving this quickly to deliver on what was promised in campaign.

So the obstructionists can protest all they wish. So long as it's kept peaceful and non destructive. The fact is their candidate lost. Their methods and motive had the last eight years. Being so overtly contrary to the call for change just looks like rage and not purpose.
Appreciate the thought and effort you put into this post.

Have to say though that our existing refugee process was very tight to begin with. It was nothing like the uncontrolled mass acceptance of refugees in europe.

Even judges have determined that he if going too far.

A sinking ship? Really? Well that sinking ship that holds the anti-Trump folks holds the majority of Americans because it is not just the left that realizes what a self-serving fraud this guy is. It's not for no reason that he received only a paltry 26% of the vote from all eligible voters so let's get real here.

The Democrats have a problem with winning and a love of victimhood. Engrained in their psyche is the Participation Trophy, that coming in first or last is the same thing and that if someone wins they had an unfair advantage. It shows when it comes to elections. A generation is learning that winning and losing are totally different, that only winners have power. In the USA power comes from winning elections and the GOP controls the White house, Senate, House, Supreme Court, and everything in 26 states. You can hashtag and hold marches all you want and it will change nothing. In real life victimhood gets you nothing but pity and scorn.

Just think, had this "hold" been in place prior to 9-11-01, 3000 Americans would still be alive today.
