Well, it wasn't Minneapolis. Even 5 years ago I rarely saw a problem or even heard of one.
It used to be Hennepin Ave after hours and 1st Ave. Just stay away from those areas after 10pm.
Now it's all over. And the liberal leadership simply will not deal with it. They are all safely tucked away in their Kenwood or Lake of the Isle's homes and they leave the cops to swing in that cesspool downtown. and woe is the cop who actually has to defend himself because the Mayor herself will call in the ACLU and every liberal activism group she can find to investigate him/her.
Gone are the days when a Mayor would stand up for their cops, in Minneapolis anyway.

Oh please, Hennepin, N Loop, etc in the downtown area is very safe, even after hours.
Ok, N Minneapolis, that may be an issue...but I think everyone knows that
Minnesota ranks 15th in federal land ownership. According to the Congressional Research Service, Minnesota spans 51.2 million acres. Of that total, 6.78 percent (compared to California's 46%), or 3.469 million acres, belonged to the federal government as of 2012.
Minnesotans receive $0.54 in return for every dollar they pay in federal incomes tax, which ranks seventh lowest in the country. 26.88% of Minnesota state revenue comes from federal funding, which is 11th lowest in America. In terms of federal employees, Minnesota ranks fourth lowest in the nation with 3.53 per 1000 residents. In addition, Minnesota has 2.95 non-defense federal employees per 1000 residents, which is 16th lowest in the country.
3M is a Minnesota company. You may pay more for Post It notes. Canoes, The Minnesota paddle? Other Minnesota products:
They have 10 electoral college votes which we can add to Calexit's 55. That's 65 that will make non-leaving Republicans happy.
They have a lot of Somalians. Not sure, why them. One in 20 Minnesotans are Hispanic. About 1 in 4 Hispanic residents live in poverty, more than double the poverty rate for all Minnesotans.
Here's an interesting factoid about the state:
In 2013, there were 47,427 active leases covering 36.09 million acres of federal land nationwide. Of that total, no leases were in Minnesota. In 2013, out of 3,773 new drilling leases approved nationwide by the BLM for oil and gas exploration, no leases were in Minnesota.
If Minnesota goes, the Weather Channel will probably have big layoffs in the winter. That's all I've got.
They don't seem to need us all that much but they might have more competition for their type of products in Canada.
Now at over 8,500 signatures......my goodness. I might buy a boat, another snow-cat and an ice fishing hut.
