What are some good conservative institutions? I'm genuinely curious.

This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard today. College students go there to be taught critical thinking skills.

So am I. It's like conservatives complaining about arts and entertainment leaning liberal. They can always create their own arts and entertainment but they will need to be their own customer base as well. If conservatives want right wing colleges, they should create them and then they have to be their customers. Further, the graduates of such a university have to be able to get hired based on that education.

" Who want to pay a,College /University to have their kids teached/ brainwashed the left biased lies. "

Nothing new really. Heck, even I wrote a few papers that did not accurately reflect my values. Collect that A and graduate. It sucks, but that's the way it is.

Unfortunately, both public and private education in America has been taken over and used as a brainwashing mechanism by the powers-that-be, who are crazy-far-left Progressive. In public education, this is basically a result of the federal government using taxpayer dollars to reward schools that reflect its philosophy. In colleges and universities, it is due to both taxpayer support, and the fact that already-indoctrinated students want to hear the same "feel-good" propaganda they grew up with.

Luckily, at the same time, the benefits of going to college have almost been wiped out: a youngster today will probably make MORE money serving as an apprentice to a trade (electrician, plumber, etc.), than he/she would earn with a college degree.

The cost of college skyrocketed, and colleges had to "compete" for paying students--and to make students happy, they had to lower the demands (academic standards) that used to be in place. Today, students grade their teachers, and this is used as a basis for advancement and pay. A college professor today simply cannot be a tough grader, assign significant homework, and demand that students learn necessary but dull material, if he expects to keep his job.

You still need training. A college certificate or diploma for a trade.

Nobody makes you go to college. You are free to spend your life working at McDonald's, living in a trailer park and having independent thought. At least you could pay attention in high school English class and learn to construct a half-way decent sentence. Maybe without even being brainwashed.

That's probably next on Trump's agenda.

Then when these people lacking education choose a life on disability, the states own the results rather than the tax-paying public being forced to support them.

I have no issue whatsoever with conservatives being against college as long as I'm not paying to support them.
Once again. I am not a conservative. I am an independent and I don't want political bias from either side of the aisle in higher education. As it stands now, most of the bias is overwhelmingly liberal bias. I'd be just as angry if it were the reverse.

The first step in addressing a problem is recognizing it. The second step is working to change it.

Any change has to come from conservatives. Liberals will just keep going to college, getting jobs and living and making blue states more successful.
